Alizeya Duran is a senior at ITW David Speer Academy. This will be her second year as editor of the newspaper and first year as editor for the yearbook team at Speer. Last year, she was a founding member of the newspaper club as Chief Athletic Director. She’s involved in various sports and clubs throughout ITW, including varsity Track & Field and Cross Country, NHS, Student Council, Environmental Action Club, and Newspaper Club. Duran enjoys volunteering during her free time, hanging out with friends, and watching movies. In the near future, she plans to study Nursing at UW-Madison, where she will then strive for her masters to become a nurse anesthetist. Duran is very excited to see how things flourish throughout this school year.
